Lake Argyle - Day 50

Happy Mothers Day to all the mums xxx

Fletcher:  Today we had pancakes for breakfast, mum loved her presents.  I got her a soap, dad got her a soap and Mackenzie got her a gift in a bottle and a painted rock with a message on the back.  Later on we went to the pool, then went for lunch then went to watch Steve play his songs.  Dad got him to sign all three cd's for him.  Then we went back for a swim, we took a lot of photos.  Later on in the day we went to the restaurant and had dinner, I had fish and chips so did Mack, dad had a burger and mum had a steak sandwich.
We were giving mum a chair lift in the pool and just dropped her and we were laughing

Mackenzie : Mothers Day. Today we woke up and gave mum some presents she loved it.  For breakfast I had soup it was yum.  After that we went to the pool and me and Fletcher went in the spa, when we got out we went back to the caravan and had lunch and then went back to the pool and I found an earring when we got out I took it to the office and then we got ready to go for dinner.  We had a shower and dressed up nice for dinner, I had fish and chips, the fish was yum.  When we walked back out of the bar we saw a cane toad.

What an amazing mothers day, I was very spoilt and my kids know me so well it made me so happy.  Fletcher gave me beautiful hand made soap from Kununurra, so did Daniel and Mackenzie gave me a lovely hand painted rock with a boab tree on it and she had made me a gift in a bottle that had a voucher inside for her to give me a massage, so gorgeous.  Breakfast was pancakes but they had used tooth picks and made it a staircase to the moon for me.  We were tossing up to do the lake cruise today but decided to take it easy and the kids chose to go out for dinner on mothers day, suited me so I didn't have to cook. With no phone service we had to organise a phone card to make a call back to our own mums.  We had a bit of a look around the park, which is great, they are working very hard to keep the grass green and lush with sprinklers going all day somewhere in the park, the site we had was shady and green with plants and flowers behind us separating the next row of sites for amazing privacy and the toilets are the portable ensuite types and are spotless clean.  We spent the day around the pool, which was heaven as its still so hot.  We went back and listened to Steve play and his mum and a friend were over from Wagga to visit him for the weekend, what a great mothers day she would have had seeing him after him being on the road.  Today we really did just go back and forward to the pool, so that's my excuse to load a heap of pictures of it on here!  Tea was fantastic, we sat outside under a huge ceiling fan and really got to relax, what a fantastic mothers day I had.
